Bella Casa Enterprises Limited is a long established family owned Canterbury residential building company. In 2001, Steve and Jane Wayne as directors, incorporated the company. Yet the reality is we have over three decades of hands on building experience to draw from and a proud reputation for listening and understanding our client’s needs, frustrations and desires in the building process with a no surprise philosophy. This has seen many repeat clients who request our services on their next building project or refer us on to family and friends as their preferred builder.

We build many mid-range homes for our clients, but you’ll also find some million dollar plus homes in our galleries. We have the skills and experience to work with you regardless of the size of your new home or your budget.

Steve loves to build homes where there is a marriage of both traditional and contemporary elements in the build. This style of building is bespoke and requires a full understanding of both characteristics to ensure the execution of the build is as you envisage.

With sub-contractor connections dating back three decades, we have a well-established network of like-minded sub-contractors that we can utilise with each build, which demonstrates and reflects in the consistency of both craftsmanship and respect for our business style and philosophy.

We are proud to be known for our communication and understanding shown to our clients during what can be a stressful process, especially in the challenging times that Canterbury has experienced over the last few years.

We are also an award winning building company, in 2013 taking the titles “House of the Year” Gold Reserve Award (National finalist) and 2013 “House of the Year” Gold Award, by the Registered Master Builders Federation.
